Life History
I was born and raised in Whittier, CA, and became a true Jesus follower at the age of 15 when I went to Young Life camp. I attended Azusa Pacific University to obtain my BA in Communication and Psychology in 1987. After working at Focus on the Family for 2+ years, I relocated to Denver to attend Denver Seminary, where I received an MA in Christian Education and Counseling in 1992. I also met my husband, Curt, at seminary and we were married the week after graduation to begin our life in ministry together. We have been blessed to serve on staff for churches and other Christian organizations in Baton Rouge, LA, Castle Rock, CO, Westcliffe, CO and Lodi, CA before coming back “home” to the Denver area in 2005. During that time, God has also increased our family with two beautiful boys, Brandon (born 3/7/95) and Connor (born 7/1/98).

What you enjoy doing on your day off:
Taking long walks with my dog, Sonic, around Standley Lake, “chilling” with my family, scrapbooking or reading a good book.

List one of your most interesting memories/experiences:
One of the most difficult, but rewarding, opportunities I’ve ever had was counseling with students and faculty from Columbine High School after the school shooting there. It was a humbling and emotional experience…and very faith-stretching.

What is something that not many people know about you:
I am a HUGE Broncos fan!
