- G.R.O.W. Classes
9 AM the 2nd Sunday of each month throughout the Summer.
Nearly all of us long for vibrant spiritual growth, but we often find that our spiritual lives get squeezed out, overgrown or just plain dried up. The new series of GROW classes are designed to help you find ways to cultivate your spiritual life each week with learning that will help you sink your spiritual roots deeper.
As we've looked at Scripture, and the historical values of our denomination, we believe there are four essential elements that foster the transforming work of the Spirit. Practices within each of these four areas need to be engaged by people of all ages. We've used the word GROW as an acronym to make these four areas easy to remember.
God's Word...shaping our actions and our lives.
We are people of the Word, who value Scripture as the only perfect rule for our lives.
Relationships...nurturing our growth.
Healthy and effective spiritual growth takes place in the context of relationships...both within peer groups and across generations.
Obedient Living...using our gifts in witness and service.
We believe that discipleship to Jesus implies radical obedience to all of his teachings.
Worship...interacting with and experiencing God.
Knowing that God desires an intimate relationship with us, we are committed to a lifestyle of worship characterized by both individual and corporate expressions of devotion.
Elective classes will be offered from each of these areas during each service. Throughout the year, the four “GROW” areas will be covered in each of the hours, so you will have access to all of them, regardless of which service you choose for worship.
If you have questions, contact Pastor Mike Brown or Scott Moore through the Church office.
- "Life Development" Discipleship Classes:
These classes are designed to provide an introduction to 4Cs and the
Christian life, as well as assist in building a deeper, more meaningful
walk with God. Each class is offered approximately four times a year.

- "Discovering Spiritual Maturity"
This class explores how to grow in your faith through Bible study,
prayer, fellowship and stewardship.
- "Discovering Your Ministry" (S.H.A.P.E.)
This class explores your S.H.A.P.E.: Your Spiritual gifts, Heart passions,
Abilities, Personality and Experiences, and how to find joy in serving
God and others as we better understand and tap into how God has uniquely
wired each one of us.
